Anna had a pretty good week. Her sleeping has been a little off. She has had a little runny nose so I don't know if that's bothering her or what but she has not been a fan of napping and one day just flat out refused to nap, and then she doesn't want to go down at night. So that's been a little frustrating, but thankfully once she has fallen asleep at night she has slept fine all night. She continues to be a very fast explorer in our house. She also stood on her own without holding on to anything for about 10 seconds. But she has had no desire to do that again. :) She had her 9 month check up on Thursday. She weighed 21pounds 15.5 ounces and was I believe 29 1/2 inches long (they don't give you a print out like my old doctor and so I think that's what they said :)). I do know that they doctor said she was 85th percentile for both so nice and proportional :) And the doctor was very happy with how she was doing. She kept saying Anna was "fancy" because she thought she had to stand and talk loud and do all these things she's not really quite ready to do. :) The doctor told me those are the kind of kids that give you gray hair. :) I'm hoping not. I mean seriously, if Jonathan and David haven't given me gray hair yet, I'm not sure what will. :)
Speaking of those two:
The twins got Hungry Hippo for their birthday and have spent hours since playing it. They do seem to have trouble keeping track of all the little marbles which is not good considering we have a 9 month old who likes to explore the floors and put whatever she finds in her mouth :).
Steve dressed Anna one day and it was so cute because he put her in her shirt that says "Daddy's favorite Girl" :) It really is so cute to watch those two together, they're both pretty big fans of each other
For instance here :). She was so tired and really needed to go to bed but what greatly enjoying her brothers being in bed and she would just sit by Steve and then lay her head on his legs, so precious!

I know I'm her mother, but seriously, she's just too cute! :)
But she's also a stinker! She refused to take an afternoon nap this day! (I had just worked out which is why I look the way I do :))
Since she didn't nap she was ready for bed at 7:00!
And it didn't take long for her to conk out :)
Walking behind her walking toy. Most times however she just prefers to reach over and grab the toys in the front :). Also, notice how nice the room looks :) I finally had it with all their toys and them being everywhere so the night before after they all went to bed I went through all their toys and pulled a bunch out to take to the thrift store :) They have yet to notice or say anything about all the missing things :)
The twins and Anna had well child check ups this week. They all did really well and are doing great! The twins were highly entertaining, they were in very talkative moods which made it pretty fun. I can't remember all their stats but I know Jonathan weighed 40.6 pounds and was 3/4 of an inch taller than David. And David weighed 39.4 pounds. David was in the 75th percentile for height and weight and Jonathan was in the 85th percentile for both. And they were both very brave getting their flu shots, no tears from either of them!
My Uncle Jim came to our house with my Grandpa and Grandma VandenHeuvel. He lives in Alberta and they were visiting him and decided to come visit us and make a trip to Yellowstone. It was so great to get to see them and show them our home here in Montana.
My grandparents brought birthday presents for the twins and also a gift for Micah and Anna. They gave Anna this cute little doll (her first one!). I think the boys were just as excited about her new doll as she was (we don't have any dolls in our house except my porcelain dolls which they have been given strict instructions they are not to play with :)).

They even got Grandpa to read them one of Micah's library books. Thanks so much for stopping by!!! We love seeing family!!
How we got through Target this week :)
Notice Anna is missing her socks, the twins took them off because they wanted to do "This Little Piggy" with her toes :)
Micah's school had a Harvest Festival this morning and I had volunteered to make cupcakes for the baked goods table. It was pretty hard making them and not taste testing at all (I'm still on my 12 week challenge and frosting is not listed in the healthy food group :)). I had to rely on Micah to tell me if my frosting tasted okay, which of course he was happy to do. :)
The boys had a blast at the Harvest Festival. I had to work at a game the whole time, so unfortunately the only picture I have is of them doing the cake walk which was right next to the game I was working at. :) And they won their cake walk! And they picked the cupcakes Mom had brought for it :). Micah had been really kind of mad that I wasn't leaving any cupcakes home for them to eat so it was nice he got to take some home and actually eat some.
Anna got to hang out with mom and "help" me run the Plinko game while Daddy took the boys around to all the games.
Enjoying their cupcakes they won!
