Life With the Bussis'- 4.24.2017

I really need to get back in the habit of blogging on the same day every week, because otherwise, I just forget. :)
Cowboy David loves giving his little sister rides (I'm pretty sure he wore that hat all day for at least two days in a row :))

Big girl thought she needed to sit in a booster seat instead of her highchair and eat a big raw carrot :) Don't grow up so fast!!

I made a new cupcake, Almond Cream with raspberry filling, oh my goodness, it was quite delicious if I do say so myself :)

Steve and I went out to eat just the two of us, it was so nice to be able to have a meaningful conversation :). We had been so busy the last couple of weeks, it was great to be able to spend some time with just the two of us.

Easter family picture. Thankfully we got one good one.

Because this is what most of them looked like (poor David couldn't stop coughing :))

My four sweeties

The little boys (I forgot to take a picture of just Anna :))

All the boys

The girls

Jonathan loves it when we go to the Kimm's house, he always finds the knight costume

He's got a big smile on his face behind that helmet

All the kids ready for the egg hunt (it was so sweet of them to include our kids in the fun, they even had bags all ready for them)

The older kids kindly helped the twins find eggs

They had so much fun

Anna just wanted to take the egg in and out of her bag :)

They loved getting to go for a ride (they were hunting for bears :))

Unfortunately three out of my four kids ended up with fevers Sunday night (Jonathan had had one a few days earlier). So Monday Anna got to have a jammie day

The week before Jonathan fell asleep on the couch, this week it was David

Thankfully they were feeling better so we went to Walmart to get some groceries. The boys had so much fun running up and down the isles :)

Eating goldfish outside, life is good

At least it's good until your brothers decide to take over your table :)

I got the ad from Bed Bath and Beyond and saw they still sell my china design I got for our wedding! I knew it was a classic :). Seeing it also reminded me that I really should use it sometime :)

There isn't much more entertaining than listening to these two play Monopoly Jr. without any adult help :)

Jonathan is so over winter. And he's like his older brother who thinks that matching your clothes means picking the same color :)

Anna and her little buddy were so cute in their pink sweatshirts!

The twins discovered that they could ride Steve's razor scooter (it only has two wheels as opposed to their scooters that have "training wheel"- three wheels :)). But it was raining on Friday. They were so disappointed to not be able to ride it, and Steve was gone doing visits, so I decided to just pull the van out of the garage and let them ride in there. It was a hit!

We even blew bubbles!

Anna taking it all in

And then joining in, well, at least getting in the way

Anna got this adorable backpack from my mom. She wanted me to put it on her and then she went straight to the door, thought we were going on a trip I guess :)

She also loves sitting in her chair she got from Steve's parents for her birthday. It's so cute!

Having some cookie ice cream sundaes for dessert

These kids love cookies!

Our church had a volunteer work day on Saturday morning to work on some landscaping projects around the church and our house. There were tractors and trucks everywhere, making it very hard for my 4 year old boys to sit in the house and watch. So I finally let them go outside but told them they had to help pick potatoes out of the dirt (they had gotten a bunch of dirt to fill in all over from some potato farmers, and it had lots of little red potatoes in it which if left, would cause potatoes to grow :), so they had to try to pick all the potatoes out, which was a great job for two 4 year old boys who wanted to help)

They also "helped" move the picnic tables

And Jonathan "helped" clean up the dirt on the parking lot :)
