Week 26- 6 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!!

David (left)- 16.5 pounds

My little guys are 6 months old today!!!  6 months ago today the Lord brought into the world two very precious little boys that have blessed our lives so much already!  I have to admit, the past 6 months are kind of a blur :).  I'm thankful I started a blog so I can go back and remember those days.

I have a feeling our wii isn't all that accurate with the weighing because honestly David eats more than Jonathan so I don't know how he lost weight and Jonathan gained.  They are both eating so much better.  Sleep wise, not so much.  Jonathan is sleeping fine at night but a lot of times wakes up early from his nap.  David on the other hand wakes up during the night every night and then decides 6am is a good time to start the day (his mother does not agree).  We try to let him cry it out which works sometime but sometimes he wins.  Thankfully Jonathan is a very good sleeper and just keeps on sleeping as his brother cries.  Micah did this around this time too.  I think their gums hurt from teething so it wakes them up and then they decide they're hungry.  With Micah I would feed him in the middle of the night when he woke up.  But then he got used to it and would wake up the same time every night for almost 2 months until we started letting him cry it out and 3 days later he once again slept through the night.  So I figured we'd just start out letting David cry it out so he doesn't get used to being feed in the middle of the night, but so far, it hasn't worked that well.  We will see what we come up with.  This mamma needs her sleep so hopefully we figure something out soon. :)
This past week Steve's grandpa went to be with the Lord.  He was a wonderful man who loved his family very much.  We found out at visitation and the funeral how much he and Steve's grandma brag about their great-grandkids, we had so many people come up to us and tell us how much they had heard about our boys. :)  So cute!  Steve's brother Dan came out for the funeral.  We didn't bring the boys to the funeral so we met at the mall before Dan's flight so he could see them.

Micah and his cousin Bentley had fun just sitting in the cars.  Thankfully they haven't figured out yet that if you put quarters in the car moves. :)

The boys hanging out with Uncle Dan

Micah has discovered how much he likes riding the train at the mall and he talked Grandma into taking him on a ride.

We finally had a nice day where we saw the sun and could go outside.  Here the boys are hanging out outside watching their big brother play.

Playing outside for Micah always involves a ball

Micah had to check up on his brothers from time to time to make sure they were doing alright.

We decided we should take advantage of the nice weather and take a little walk.  Here's our cool stroller.  Micah is a big fan of his seat up front.  I have to say, it's quite a workout pushing over 65 pounds of kids.

David hit a milestone this week, he rolled over! I have yet to actually see him in the act but I've seen the aftermath.  He actually did it the first time while Steve and I were at the funeral, silly boy.  And then he did it again last night.  Here he is afterwards quite proud of himself.

David has started doing this really weird thing with his voice.  It's pretty funny.  Thought you'd enjoy hearing it.

And finally, for your enjoyment, this is what Micah does when he hears music. :)
