Anna's Weekly Update- 4.23.16- 13 Weeks (3 Months!)

How we find Anna a lot these days, with her fingers in her mouth :)

Weight: 15 pounds

We have made it to 3 months with our Anna!! She is doing really well. She is pretty content unless she is really tired or we're trying to feed her. :) She loves to play on her playmat on the floor, or in her swing with toys hanging down. She loves it when her brothers get in her face, they can always make her smile. She seems to be discovering that her hands can be used to grab toys or put fingers in her mouth to chew on. She smiles easily which is so fun. She's outgrowing her 3 month clothes, so she's wearing mostly 3-6 month clothes and even some 6 month clothes although they are a bit big on her. She still is a pain to feed, eating most of her bottles in her car seat which she prefers to being held. But at least she's eating and thankfully she's starting to like being held a little more so we still get some cuddles in. Steve mentioned the other day he feels like she's even starting to hold on to him when he holds her which is so fun. We love our Anna!!

I got some bubble bath for the boys and they are now big fans of taking bubble baths. They think it's pretty fun to hide their toys under the bubbles and to put the bubbles on each other's faces to look like beards

It was the twin's half birthday last Sunday so Micah decided to make these banners (he even cut them out himself) and party hat. Of course the twins were confused why we were saying Happy Half Birthday and yet we had no cake and no presents. :) Half birthdays were a big deal for me because my birthday was in the summer so I always brought treats to school on my half birthday. All our kids' birthdays are during the school year, so half birthdays might not be such a big deal for them. :)

We gave this dress to a girl at our Michigan church and I loved it, so when I had Anna, she gave it back to us for Anna to wear, so fun!!

Playing some Kids Sequence. Playing a game with the twins is always interesting :)

Steve and I have decided that Montana really doesn't want people moving here because they make it an absolute pain to get your drivers license which you then need to register your car. We had a hard time finding on line where we had to go so Steve called the car dealer where we bought our car and they told us where to go for both (it's a different place for each). So Monday we piled all the kids in the car and went first to the place to get our drivers license. Got every one out of the car, got inside only to find out that we needed an appointment and even though it wasn't very busy inside they couldn't just fit us in, you have to make an appointment online. Went home to make an appointment, the next available one was the beginning of June!! So we piled all the kids back in the car and went to the place to get our vehicles registered. Got every one out of the car, got inside, took a number, waited a few minutes, went up to the counter to find out we needed proof of residency. We had a pay stub with our address on it, nope, that didn't work. Checks with our address on it, nope, that doesn't work. A drivers license would work, but we can't get one of those till June!!! A renters agreement works, but we don't rent our house! So, no registering our cars for us. So we wasted our morning driving around, getting all 4 kids in and out of the van, all for nothing! All that to say we ended up at a park and the boys loved having Daddy there to swing them nice and high :).

Our neighbor gave me a bag of girl clothes for Anna and inside were these boots! Can't wait for her to wear them, they are soooo cute!!!

We have had a beautiful week weather wise so we spent a lot of time outside. They found a good place to play baseball (just have to watch out for some sprinkler heads :))

Out for a walk with the twins (on their bikes) and Anna

Anna got booted to her room to play on the floor because she was making too much noise in the living room where the boys were watching a video. She didn't seem to mind, she'll play and make noise anywhere

Of course as soon as their video was done they had to come find Anna to play

All that playing wore her out :)

I did my first trip to the grocery store with all 4 kids! This was after so obviously it went well. :) Thankfully Micah was happy to push Anna in her stroller, Anna slept in her stroller, and the twins could ride in the car in the front of the grocery cart, so all went well.

The boys rode their bikes and I pushed Anna in the stroller to the school to play on the playground one afternoon

The twins love being monkeys and swinging on the bars

I wanted to get a picture of all 3 boys with the mountains in the background, I had to settle on 2 out of 3 :)

Got to break out the rompers this week, so cute!!

David got a ride from our neighbor girl who is very impressive driving with the dog going crazy in front of her :)

They love this swing!

I took Jonathan on a little date this week. We went to the store and got some fun bubble toys and then went to Costco for some ice cream. I said let's take a picture together and he thought his spoon needed to be in on it. :)

That's a little better

Here he said "Mom (he calls me Mom by the way, not Mommy, and Steve is Dad, I guess he's too mature for Mommy and Daddy), look, I can do a silly face." We had fun on our date, he is such a talker it took him forever to finish his ice cream. :) Love these special times with my boys!

Playing with their bubble guns the next morning. They have a hard time blowing bubbles, so this way they got to chase the bubbles but not blow them. :)

She loves her Daddy!

My parents came to visit and I let the boys skip their naps (which they rarely sleep during anyways) and come with me to the airport to get them. They were pretty excited at the airport because there was a little bear there

And a big buffalo bench

We went to Famous Daves for dinner Friday night and this is how Jonathan thought his plate was suppose to be used

Anna chilling in her car seat while we ate dinner

Even though the weather wasn't the greatest Saturday morning we decided to do some exploring in the area and went to a state park that had lots of hiking paths. They boys LOVED it!! So much fun to hike around. So that's what the next whole bunch of pictures are from:

Anna was sleeping in her stroller so we had to do our family picture without her

It was so fun to get to show my parents where we now live, they'd never been here before!

Checking out the rivers (this is where 3 rivers meet). Amazingly none of them ended up in the river :)

Attempting to get a jumping picture, didn't work :)

Trying to get a nice picture with my boys, Jonathan didn't cooperate :)

Micah did (after about 5 attempts)

Showing their muscles

David

Jonathan

So big!

And of course if one climbs on a rock, they all have to climb on a rock :)

And of course you have to jump off the rock to get off

Anna hung out with Grandma in the car to stay warm for some of the time

We packed a picnic lunch and even though it was raining by lunchtime we found a covered bench to eat at which was way more fun then just going home to eat :). It was a very fun morning! We're excited to go back this summer and hike more trails!

Anna hung out in her stroller all bundled up while we ate

Making pizza Saturday night. They were so excited to each make their own

My mom made some valances and this banner for Anna's room so we put them and some other stuff up yesterday so her room is now all decorated! Love it!
