Ingredients: Steak, Steak Seasoning, Onion, Beef Broth, Olive Oil, Egg Noodles
Dice up an onion
Cut up the steak into about 1 inch slices
To a hot pot add about a tablespoon of olive oil
Add the onions...
and steak
Sprinkle in some steak seasoning
Stir until the meat is browned and the onions are translucent
Add 1 1/2 cups of beef broth
Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes (the liquid will reduce by about half)
Then add 1 1/2 more cups of beef broth...
and 1 1/2 cups of water
Add 8 oz of uncooked egg noodles
Push the noodles down into the liquid and boil for 10 minutes
The noodles will cook and start to absorb the liquid
Then just remove from heat, cover and let stand for 15 minutes.
Broccoli ingredients: Broccoli, Olive Oil, Steak Seasoning
To a hot sauce pan add broccoli
Drizzle with olive oil
Sprinkle with steak seasoning. Mix it around so the broccoli is coated with the oil and seasoning. Always to cook for a few minutes
Then spread the broccoli out so it's empty in the middle of the pan and pour in a little water (this is to steam the broccoli)
Cover and cook for about 5 minutes
And there you have it, a delicious meal of Beef & Noodles with Broccoli
As you can see Jonathan is a fan mostly of the broccoli :)
Once his broccoli was gone he did eventually eat all the noodles :)
These two boys think alike :)
I guess we just eat broccoli first :)
