Fun Food Friday- Snicker Salad

Another very wonderful way to use apples is in Snicker Salad.  I mean, pudding, cool whip, snickers and apples, does it get any better?  And since it's called Snicker SALAD and has apples in it, it must be good for you, right? :)  I mean, I did use sugar free pudding and light cool whip, so it really wasn't too bad.  And I went easy on myself and use the Snickers bites so I didn't have to chop as much.  I did end up giving them a quick chop, but it was still faster.  This is such an easy and quick dish to make and people seem to love it.  So if you have to bring a "salad" somewhere, try this one, people will think you're awesome :).
Ingredients: Apples, Vanilla Pudding, Cool Whip, Milk, Snickers

To a mixing bowl add a small package of vanilla pudding...

and 1 1/2 cups of cold milk

Whisk together for 2 minutes until it thickens

Add a small tub of cool whip...

And mix until all combined

This is a very handy way to core and slice up apples

Then just dice up those slices.  I used Granny Smith Apples but you can use any tart apple.

Add the apples to the pudding mixture

Then just chop up your Snickers (or Snickers bites in my case)...

And add them to the salad

Stir all together.
And there you have it!  That quick, that easy!  And oh so very good!
You can make this salad ahead of time, just don't dice and add the apples until you're ready to serve, you don't want the apples to get brown and soft.
