Fun Food Friday- Death By Chocolate~ Gluten Free

Do you ever need to bring a dessert for a number of people?  This is a great dessert that is absolutely delicious and goes a long way.  I made this one for a potluck at church.  And another great thing about it is it's very easy to make gluten free.  You just have to use gluten free brownies and Betty Crocker has a great brownie mix.  I also use sugar-free pudding.  I had gestational diabetes with both of my pregnancies so the only pudding I could have was sugar-free and I discovered then that it tastes the same as the regular stuff, so why not just always use sugar-free :).  So if you want a dessert that will impress not only because it looks amazing but also because it tastes amazing (not to mention is a cinch to make), this one's for you!
Ingredients:  Brownies (Gluten Free if you want it to be gluten free), Milk, Chocolate Pudding (2), Chocolate Chips, Heath Toffee Bits, Cool Whip (2)

The first thing you need to do is make the brownies and let them cool, but I of course forgot to take a picture of that :).  Once they are cooled you need to make the pudding.  Add 2 large packages of chocolate pudding to 6 cups of cold milk.

Whisk for 2 minutes

Time to start layering.  You want to do it right away before the pudding sets.  So first you put 1/3 of the pudding in a trifle bowl (if you don't have a trifle bowl you should ask for one for Christmas, they are so fun to have)

On top of the pudding layer 1/3 of the brownies.  Push them down into the pudding

Next comes chocolate chips

Then the cool whip

And on top of that the toffee bits.  Then you just repeat 2 more times...

Until you get to the top

And there you go, yummy, delicious Death by Chocolate
